Summer Camp

Action campers is offered by St. Andrew's
Episcopal Church. The emphasis of the camp is to provide
a fun-filled, enriching experience and activities for young
children in a friendly, nurturing environment. Our summer
camp attracts families from as far away as Branchburg and
Springfield as well as the surrounding communities of New
Providence, Berkeley Heights, Chatham, Madison, Scotch Plains
and Summit.
Admission
Action Camp is a summer camp program of children's activities
designed for children between the ages of three and seven.
To be eligible, a child must have turned three by June
first of the current year, attended
nursery school for a minimum of one year, and cannot wear
diapers or pull-ups during camp sessions.
All campers are assigned to age appropriate
groups. Activities in each group are led by a certified
early childhood teacher and may have one or more assistants
depending upon the age level and number of children in the
group. All "special needs" should be made known
to the Camp Director at the time of application.
Although we do not expect to have any disciplinary problems,
the Camp reserves the right to dismiss any child who exhibits
behavioral problems or is unresponsive to the counselors
directions. The Camp will not refund tuition if a child
is voluntarily or involuntarily withdrawn from the program.

Wee Campers is a summer camp program of children's activities
open to children who have turned 3 by June 1st of current year
and must previously have attended nursery school.
Camp Dates - The
2008 camp will run from June 9th to August 8th.
Request for groupings with friends must
be listed on application form and are only granted prior
to the child's camp week. We cannot accommodate such requests
once the camp week and activities begin. Please keep in
mind that we group by age and in order to assure optimal
group size, we cannot always honor particular requests,
although every effort will be made to do so.
