Welcome to In-person Pandemic Worship
Below are the protocols so that you can show your love for your neighbor:
-
Only attend if you feel comfortable and safe.
-
We will continue to broadcast worship via Facebook and Zoom.
-
Worship will be outside, weather permitting.
-
All protocols apply to indoor worship also.
-
Wear a mask at all times. Do not wear gloves. (Disposable masks available.)
-
Sit at least 6 feet apart. Bring your own lawn chair, if you have one.
-
We will take attendance in case we need to do contact tracing.
-
If you are sick, do not attend.
-
If you become sick, let the office know immediately.
-
We might check temps at times. Anyone 99+ will be asked to return home.
-
Hand sanitizer will be available. Use it.
-
Only use the building for restrooms.
-
No public singing, but we'll have a cantor.
-
No hymnals or prayer books.
-
Bulletins will be distributed.
-
Peace passed touchlessly. I suggest a gentle bow.
-
No offering plate passed, but available for donations. Please use other means.
-
No Coffee Hour and no lingering.
-
I will preach seated to help with broadcasting.
-
No Communion until we are comfortably working with these protocols.
-
When we need to worship inside, all the above will apply and seating will be in assigned areas.
-
We might worship in Parish Hall. Windows and doors open.
-
We will ask you to sign these protocols the first time you attend to ensure you've read them.
-
Other restrictions might become necessary. Please be patient.
-
If you do not follow these protocols, you might be asked to leave. Please don't make me do that.
You are loving your neighbor by following these protocols. Thank You. Daniel+
Further Information on Worship at St. Andrew's in the Time of Pandemic
The Diocese has approved our plan to worship in the church nave. Presently, we are limited to 25 family units in the nave, unless we use the narthex as overflow space. Whether indoor or out, service through the Summer is at 9 am. Also, we will continue to broadcast our services via Facebook and Zoom. If you cannot attend, or do not feel safe, I will make arrangements to bring Communion to you at home or for you to receive private Communion here at church. We are following all CDC, State, and Diocesan guidelines to keep all of us safe. Please contact the parish office or Fr. Daniel to schedule a time.
